i disagree with those who say she could be better, she really feels the music and interprets it, other dancers i have seen might seem more “perfect” in their moves but lack the real essence of the dance…hale is absolutely excellent!!!

Gotta disagree with the generalization..I’d post a video of myself (old white chick) if it were halal. The difference is that i speak Arabic and the music speaks to me and moves me. And look at Tarik Sultan: he came to the dance after learning to play the music. That’s the key: understand the culture first and the dance comes later.
